Pricilla “Pudge” Ostermeier, 76, of Cheyenne, died peacefully, Monday, March 28th at Davis Hospice Center.
She was born April 15, 1939 in Laramie, a daughter of Wesley and Agnes Dixon. Pudge attended Nursing School in Alliance, Nebraska, graduating with an LPN. She spent the next 40 years working as a Nurse. Five of those years were spent in Sidney, Nebraska and 35 years in Cheyenne. She married Arthur Ostermeier on December 5, 1970 in Chapel, Nebraska and they came to Cheyenne in 1976 where she has since made her home. Mr. Ostermeier died November 9, 1999 in Cheyenne.
Mrs. Ostermeier was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading mysteries, painting and she loved her dogs.
Survivors include her children, Beth, James and Krista; five grandchildren, D.J., Johnny, Brianna, James, Jr., and Jesse; two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Haylie; and a cousin Bea Holze.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. A Service of Remembrance will be announced for a later date.
