Pierre-Edouard L. R. Goetz, 28 years old, passed away January 30, 2021 in Farmersburg, Indiana.
Pierre was one who could never sit still in all the good ways. You could always find him lending a hand to a neighbor, building something with a friend or in his garage tinkering or welding away. It didn’t matter if you were family, friend or had just gotten to know him, there was never a task too big or a favor too small. Pierre had a way of making an everlasting impression and making those around him always feel important and loved.
He graduated from North Central High School, IN and attended classes at Ivy Tech Community College, IN. He worked for Key Welding in Vici, OK as a welder/fabricator, for Denver Water at Gross Dam Reservoir, CO as a hydroelectric dam operator, for 5K Construction in Vici, OK as a heavy equipment operator, and for Kennedy Trucking in Farmersburg, IN as a truck driver.
Pierre is survived by his parents Christophe Goetz, Tracy and Bill Zink, grandparents Jocelyne Goetz (Jean-Claude Georges), William Zink, and Robin Mickle, siblings Victoria (Brad) Lanouette, Sebastien (Heather) Goetz, Olivia Goetz, Lauren Smola, and Ally Zink, fiancée Anna McClain, aunts Elaine (Keith) Fox and Teresa Coulson, uncles Karl (Donna) Coulson, Dallon (Sara) Coulson, Dennis Coulson, Trevor (Jessie) Zink and Chris Zink, two nephews, and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Pierre Goetz, Carl and Sylvia Vosler, aunts Lynda McKee, Evelyn Abbott and Cary Crawford, and uncles Willard Vosler, Leroy Vosler, Lyle Hinsdale and Kenneth Coulson.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 13 at 10am at Cheyenne Hills Church in Cheyenne, WY followed by a graveside service at 2pm at Middle Creek Ranch Cemetery in Bosler, WY. A remembrance reception will be held that evening at 6pm at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Event Center, Cheyenne, WY.
