On Sunday, February 7, 2021, Phyllis A Tarr, of Cheyenne WY died at Providence Alaska Medical Center, at the age of 65. Phyllis was born on September 23, 1955, in Butte, Montana to Helen Perry and grew up in the New England area. She is survived by her sisters, Dottie Perry, Sarah Van Der Wende, Hester Douglas, and brother Bronson Bateman; her children Michael Paul, Cindy Germain, Sarah Evans, and Lilie Klein; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother Helen Bateman and son Connor Tarr.
Phyllis lived in Wyoming for 16 years working as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She worked in labor and delivery most of her life, working her way up from Nursing Assistant to ultimately Nurse Practitioner. Phyllis dedicated her life to her patients and education. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her garden, cross-stitching, and spending time at her cabin in Redfeather Lakes, CO.
A service will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky funeral home on Saturday, March 13th at 2 pm. A live, virtual service option will be available to those who are not able to attend in person.
