Phyllis M. Morgan, 80, of Cheyenne passed away 30 April at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born 10 November 1936 in Joplin, Missouri. Phyllis served in the United States Air Force at F.E. Warren where she meet her husband, Harold, in 1955. They built their family as they were transferred through the service ending their military experience in Cheyenne. Phyllis took pleasure in raising her children, and was very active participant in the lives of her grandchildren. She was a leader in the girl scout organization, cashier at Walmart and Safeway. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Phyllis enjoyed camping and being outdoors; to her, Starbucks had nothing on a pot of coffee brewed over a campfire. Phyllis was an extremely creative individual with a love for baking and cake decorating and these were gifts coveted by friends and family.
Phyllis is survived by her children Cheryl (Roger) Chaney, Donna (Randell) Schroeder, Joyce(Jeff) Boyd, James Morgan, Janet(Robert) McCormick: Sister Helen Sullin; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Husband, Harold Morgan; daughter Rhonda Haynes and brothers Jack and Harold Benjamin. Services will be held at 10am Wednesday at Wiedersphan-Radomsky Chapel.
