Perry Isaac Harris, 84, of Cheyenne, passed away unexpectedly on May 10. He was born April 30, 1935 in Torrington.
Perry served in the Army National Guard, and was an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking for loved ones, playing trumpet, gardening, his dogs, and haunted houses. He was known for storytelling, his strength of character, and his bold approach to life.
Perry is survived by his wife, Lois Harris; children, Gary Harris, Wade (Jamie) Harris, Shanna (Michael) Alles; step-children, Tia Lanzi and Tori (Charles) Kline; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dawn Wankmueller; granddaughter, Roxanne Wankmueller and sisters, Doris Miner and Sara Lee Curry.
Services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
