Paul Leonard Marron, 70, of Cheyenne, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in Cheyenne. He was born on January 17, 1945 in Ponca, Nebraska.
Paul lived most of his life in Cheyenne and loved his home. He graduated from Central High School in 1964. He joined the Navy and served during the Viet Nam War on the USS Ajax. Paul returned home, married Patricia Collins, and had three children. He became a pipefitter through Local 192. In his later years, he worked for and retired from, the State of Wyoming. He loved cars and enjoyed watching and racing stock cars in his younger years. Paul also enjoyed fishing and time spent with family and friends. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, VFW, American Legion, and AMVETS.
He is survived by his son, Eddie Marron of Cheyenne; two daughters, Jennifer Burdette (Tom) of Texas, Stacey Zerbinopoulos of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and ex-wife, Patricia; “Sis”, Karen Young (Ken) of Cheyenne; and five grandchildren, Max Marron, Zoe Zerbinopoulos, Tyler Zerbinopoulos, Oliver Burdette, and Evan Burdette; a niece, Roxanne Klas (Dean); and a nephew, Craig Allan. Paul was preceeded in death by his parents, Paul R. Marron and Kathryn Marron.
Timeless Memories services will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Interment of his urn will take place, with Military Honors, in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens and a reception will follow at the Moose Lodge.
