Paul A. Fortier, 67, of Cheyenne, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 1, 1948 in Leominster, Massachusetts, a son of Arthur Joseph and Margaret Sophia (LaFleur) Fortier. He attended and graduated from Nashoba Regional high school in Bolton, Massachusetts.
Paul moved to Cheyenne in the late 1970’s from Lancaster. He was married to Jacqueline C. Hewitt on August 20, 1983 in Cheyenne. Paul worked at various automotive dealerships selling parts for over 40 years.
Paul enjoyed watching Nascar, the Red Sox and Patriots. He and his wife were season ticket holders for the Denver Bronco’s and traveled to Sunday football games in Denver. He also collected dye cast models. He was loved dearly by his family and especially his great grandchildren. He was the sweetest, most loving and caring man.
Survivors include his wife Jacqueline; three step-children, Cynthia Breedlove; Michael (Lori) Hewitt all of Cheyenne; Richard (Sara) Hewitt of Gillette; two brothers, David Fortier of Cheyenne; and Edward Fortier; a sister, Lisa-Ann (Roy) Manring all of Massachusetts; six grandchildren, Jenilee Hewitt; September Krov; Justine Hansen; Christopher Hewitt; Corey Hewitt; Jonathan Naranjo; nine great grandchildren; all of Cheyenne and several nieces and nephews, of Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place and his cremains will be scattered on his families property in Massachusetts. Arrangements are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
