Paul Ray Fleming, Sr., 71, of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Cheyenne.
He was born on October 31, 1944 in Montgomery, West Virginia.
Paul married the one true love of his life, Linda, his High School Sweetheart, on April 25, 1964. He will continue that love affair forever. Paul enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17, and did several tours in Vietnam after almost 11 years he transferred to the Coast Guard where in 1984, he retired with over 22 years of military service. It was then that he brought his family to Cheyenne to begin another career with AAFES, first managing the NCO club, then Class 6, before retiring from the Exchange. He then started his favorite job as Fleet Manager at Spradley Barr Motors. It was there he was able to use his outgoing nature to meet, and befriend so many people. Paul was a long time umpire of youth baseball, and a member of American Legion Post 6. He was above all else, a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. His family will continue to be his legacy.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 51 years; his children, Paul, Jr. (Dee), Patty Kaiser (Jeremy), Scott (Cathy), and Anthony; seven grandchildren, Scotti, Tyler, Jasmine, Heather, Danielle, Mikayla, and Trey; two great-grandchildren, Rosalie and Meadow; and his sister-in-law, Katharine Moan.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Nettie Fleming; and his birth mother, Sarah Harper.
