Paul P. Bercich, 75, of Cheyenne, passed at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, on Wednesday February 14, 2024. He was born on May 28th, 1948 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Peter and Sarah Bercich. Paul retired from the Wyoming Department of Transportation, where he spent his entire career, starting on the Laramie Design Squad in college, and retiring as the head of Highway Development. His passion for the State and people of Wyoming was unmatched and he spent nearly every vacation exploring the state, hunting its lands or fishing it waters. Over his career he gave back in many ways serving on numerous boards and commissions. Paul was an avid University of Wyoming Cowboys and Denver Broncos fan, and leaves this world still owing on a longstanding Broncos bet with his friend Deacon David Zelenka. He is survived by his two sons, Andrew (Kimberly) of Lone Tree, Colorado and Peter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Daniel, Kayleigh and Lane. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Toni; Father and Mother, Peter and Sarah; and his sister Edith.
A viewing will be held at Wiederspahn Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21st. Funeral Services will be held at that location on Thursday, February 22nd at 2:00 PM, with Deacon David Zelenka presiding.
