Patricia Jean Lawes

Patricia Jean Lawes, 84, of Mesa AZ formerly of Cheyenne Wy, went to be with the Lord, on Friday December 6, 2024. 

Patricia was born on June 28, 1940, in Mathis, Texas daughter of the late Ethan and Alma Allen. 

Patricia attended college at the University of Wyoming graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Art Education and later a Masters in Education from Leslie College. She worked as an Art Teacher for Cheyenne schools for many years. Patricia married Elmer T. Lawes on April 9, 1960 and lived in Cheyenne, Casper, and retired to Mesa, AZ to be near family. 

Patricia will always be remembered for her love of her savior Jesus Christ, family and friends. Patricia is survived by her two children: Linda Lieber, Tracy Cummings, and her sister Betty Griffin, six grand children and eleven great-grand children. 

An interment service will be held at Memorial Gardens in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Saturday December 21, 2024 at 10:00 am.
