Pamela Ann (Koonce) Grigsby, 55, of Cheyenne, WY made her peaceful transition from this world to her Heavenly home on September 10, 2020. Pam was born on May 10, 1965 in Cheyenne, WY to Mildred Katrina (Ward) Morrison and James Edward Koonce.
Pam was a well-known talented athlete who achieved many great acknowledgements in sports. She was also an avid traveler who made her home in California, Texas, and Georgia before settling in Wyoming in 1999. Pam enjoyed reading, writing, dancing, and being a trend setter. She was a kind person who had a beautiful soul and a smile that would light up the room. She was loved by all who knew and met her. Pam’s adoring heart was reflected through the love she had for her daughters. They were her pride and joy.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Koonce; brother Gary Leon Koonce; and stepfather Aron Charles Morrison. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Katrina (Ward) Morrison of Cheyenne; sister Katherine Mary Koonce of Cheyenne; brother Ricky Edward Koonce of Cheyenne; brother Raymond Bernard Koonce (Elona) of Burnsville, MN; twin sister Patricia Ann (Koonce) McMahon of San Diego, CA; brother Charles Anthony Koonce of Cheyenne; daughter MiaJeanae Ciauna Grigsby of Laramie; daughter MeKeiya Catrina Grigsby of Cheyenne; nephew Michael Lamar Koonce of San Diego, CA; niece LaToria CasSandra McMahon of San Diego, CA; niece LaShayla Charrie Matthews of San Diego, CA; nephew Tyler Bernard Koonce (Hannah) of Burnsville, MN; niece Raediance Breelle Terrell (Levi) of Denver, CO; nephew Theo Alexander Koonce of Cheyenne; nephew Zachary Ethan Koonce of Cheyenne; grandniece Tatiana DeShay Matthews of San Diego, CA; grandniece Lucia Margaret Koonce of Burnsville, MN; and a long loving list of extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place.
