Orby L. Dupuy, 80, of Cheyenne, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 28, 1934 in Bear Island, Louisiana, a son of Joseph and Eunice M. (Leblanch) Dupuy. Orby attended schools in Louisiana and joined the United States Air Force right out of high school. Orby worked different jobs before becoming a Conductor for the U.P. Railroad in Cheyenne. He retired in November of 1991
Orby was a longtime member of AA. He had a beautiful voice and played in many bands in his younger years.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Teresi of Portland, Oregon; Vickie Coyer of Cheyenne; a brother, Dr. Reverend Larry Brignac of Louisiana; two sisters, Lois Landry and Barbara Babin, both of Louisiana; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, four brothers, Jim, Roy, Rodney and Bary Brignac; and four sisters, Mynar Dupuy; Yvonne Ledoux; Fay and Mary Ann Brignac.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday before services.
