Norman D. Wilde, 81, of Cheyenne died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the VA Medical Center.
He was born August 24, 1933 in West Albany, Minnesota.
Norman served in the Army Airborne and the Air Force, from which he retired. Upon retirement, he was a Registered Nurse at the VA Medical Center for 16 years, retiring in 1999.
He was a member of the CFD H.E.E.L.S, Illinois Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite Shrine. He also worked with the Disable American Veterans and was an avid outdoorsman.
Norman is survived by his wife, Mary Wilde; two sons, Glenn Wilde and Rex Wilde; siblings, Wilfred Wilde, Leonard Wilde, Gerri Luhman and Shirley Overton; two grandchildren, Bianca Wilde and Camryn Wilde and three great-grandchildren, Landin Wilde, Isabella Wilde and Barrett Anthony.
He was preceded by parents, William and Ivanetta Wilde; infant daughters, Norma Jean and Jan Marie Wilde; siblings, Raymond Wilde and Vivian LaRocque and a grandchild, Hans Wilde.
Timeless Memories Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cheyenne VA Chaplains Fund.
