Norma L. Cook Secor, 92, of Cheyenne, formerly of Bozeman, Montana, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Life Care Center.
She was born April 10, 1922 in Morehouse, Missouri to Harry and Dora (Norwood) Cook. Norma attended schools in Missouri, eventually moving to California, Texas, Montana and Cheyenne to be near her daughters.
She was married to Leonard Secor on May 10, 1945. Mr. Secor passed away on December 1, 1984 in Glasgow, Montana.
Norma was an active member of the First Methodist Church in Bozeman. She was an avid bridge player, and she enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading. She belonged to Soroptimist, several bridge clubs and the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include a son, Jeff Secor of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three daughters, Rebecca Gehrke, Jane Moran and Vicki Lyngstad, all of Cheyenne; a sister, Ilah Shriver of Bozeman, Montana; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers, Joe and Delmar Cook; and two sisters, Nell Sullivan and Harriett Godwin.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Memorial services will be held in Bozeman next summer.
