On July 6th, 2020, we lost one of the finest people that I have ever met Nedrah E. “Dixie” Dixon. Dixie had a heart as big as all outdoors. She was never mean to anyone. If she liked you, she was your friend for life.
She enjoyed hand painting, ceramics, collecting dolls and when she was younger, she enjoyed ballroom dancing. She even discovered motorcycle riding as a passenger.
Dixie was a fantastic seamstress. She loved Dairy Queen dipped cones, chili dogs with coleslaw, any kind of fruit, and especially Ribeye steaks done medium rare.
Her mode of music was 80’s hard rock, especially KISS. Dixie enjoyed thriller movies, the more gore the better. She would try anything once, without fear.
My best friend is gone. Bill’s wife is gone. Everyone’s friend is gone. But she will always be in our hearts and watching over us in heaven. When God made her, he only made on. She can never be equaled.
May she put heaven together her way. We love you more than you can ever imagine, and we will never stop!
Death has not taken her away from us, it has put her in a place where she can watch over us better.
