Natalie Faye Gregory

February 6, 1928 — March 17, 2021

Natalie Faye Gregory was born on February 6, 1928 to Bert and Susie Skaggs in rural eastern Colorado. She was the oldest of five children and did much of the rearing of her younger siblings as her mom was frequently ill. In her teen years she worked as a “soda jerk” in a drug store in Ordway, Colorado. She married Frank Gregory (who was called “Swede” by everyone including Natalie) and they had a daughter and two sons.

In early adulthood, she heard the gospel and accepted Christ as her Savior. From then on, she was dedicated to serving God and was active in her local church no matter where she lived. She taught Sunday School, VBS, and was willing to serve wherever needed.

Natalie was a fantastic cook, but her grandkids preferred her outstanding baking and especially her famous cookies. She loved her vegetable and flower gardens and would recruit anyone willing to help her in the garden or to sit on the porch and snap peas. She loved to play games and tell stories from the past.

Natalie was met in Heaven on March 17, 2021 by her beloved husband Frank, all her siblings, her parents, and many other relatives and friends. Remaining here to honor her legacy are her three children: Bonnie, Gary and Randy, her nine grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
