Nanette W. Ourada, 88, died December 7, 2015 at Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness.
She was born on February 3, 1927 in Boise, Idaho to Fred and nannie K. Wood.
She married Thomas N. Ourada on July 18, 1945 and had lived here for 69 years.
Nanette worked at Dodd’s Drug Store, Blue Cross, Modern Office Reproduction and as a bookkeeper since 1961, assisting her husband in his businesses, Royal Chevron and Tom the Tireman.
She was a 63 year member of Beta Sigma Phi and was an International Member of Distinction, a charter member of the Cheyenne Hot Air Balloon Club, American Legion and V.F.W. auxiliary, a life member of Easter Star of Boise, and a 46 year member of Canasta Club.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Thomas; son, Tracy (Gayle) of Cheyenne; daughter, Teri of Tucson, Arizona; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Fredna Green of Boise.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William A. Wood; and a sister, Amelia Deleeuw.
At her request no services will be held.
