Nancy A. Rhoads, 80, of Cheyenne passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Davis Hospice Center.
She was born May 4, 1935 in Delavan, Illinois and had lived here for the past 63 years.
Nancy worked for the State of Wyoming as a librarian.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and a true friend. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, and traveling. She was a wonderful cook, crocheted many afghans and was an avid fan of the Broncos, Colorado Rockies and the Wyoming Cowboys.
She is survived by her husband, Willott “Dusty” Rhoads, whom she married July 4, 1986; two sons, Mike Bienz and Doug Bienz; three step-children, Willott H. Rhoads III, Stacy Wagner, and Kristy Halberg; three brothers, Jim Naffziger, Larry Naffziger and Dean Naffziger; daughter-in-law, Mary Bienz and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded by her parents, Ralph and Hazel Naffzinger; son, David Bienz; daughter, Debbie Troutner and four siblings, Stanley Naffziger, Merlin Naffziger, Darrel Naffziger and Donna Jane.
Commemoration of life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
