Myra Sprague, 76, of Cheyenne, passed away in Casper, Wyoming on August 15th.
She was born on October 16, 1947, in Cheyenne to Sidney and Mary McHone. She attended school in Cheyenne where she met the love of her life, Larry Sprague. They were married on June 10, 1966 in Loveland Colorado. They had two children, Kevin and Kerin. She lived in Cheyenne the majority of her life.
Myra’s passion for life was one that was unmatched; she had a personality that was spunky and fiery through her life. She would not back down from a challenge and met life head on even in the tough times.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. Her family was extremely important to her and she loved the time she was able to spend with them all. She would never pass up a time to take a trip with her two kids and their families. She loved to play black jack with her grandchildren and walk the beaches of the world. She could also be found playing bunco, pickleball, caring for her beloved pomeranians and spending time with friends.
She is survived by her children Kevin(Chrisanne) Sprague of Cheyenne, Kerin(Nicolas) Dillon of Casper, her grandchildren Shaylee and Ryan McMullen of casper, her brother Jim McHone, sisters Mary Scott and Jan Hahl, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and her lifelong best friend Joy Gerard.
Myra was preceded in death by her husband Larry Sprague, parents Sidney and Mary McHone, and her brother John “Bill” McHone.
A celebration of life will be August 30th from 3-5 at The Gathering Place.
