Monna DePorter, 87, of Cheyenne, died on April 23, 2024 in Cheyenne.
She was born on July 8, 1936 in Greeley, Colorado.
Monna was involved in 4-H when her children were younger. She was famous for her cream can dinners to feed everyone at dog trials west of town. Monna loved elk hunting, but most importantly loved the Bible and the Lord.
She is survived by her children, Rusty DePorter, Terry Ann DePas, Karen Hamilton, and Marci Warpness; her sister, Era Barnes; and six grandhildren.
Monna was preceded in death by her siblings, Bruce Sidwell, Leland Sidwell, Caroline Sidwell, and Shirley Bradshaw.
Graveside services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
A reception will immediately follow at the Terry Bison Ranch.
