Michael F. Neal

August 7, 1956 — December 6, 2024

Cheyenne

Mike was born August 7, 1956 in Laramie, Wyoming to Melvin and Joann Neal. He went home to Our Lord on December 6, 2024. He was a vibrant and kind soul who touched everyone he ever met. In his early years he attended schools with his sister Cindy in Laramie and Cheyenne, and later attended Woods School in Casper where he learned precious life skills which helped him maintain his independence throughout his life.

When he was 19, he moved to Jackson, WY and made many friends. He enjoyed working at the Jackson Hole Playhouse Theatre and volunteering with many local events. He loved to work and help out. He loved Country Music and liked to be called Conway, after Conway Twitty. In his later years, he moved to Cheyenne to be near family.

He is survived by his sister Cindy Lange of Colorado Springs, his Uncle Gordon (Alice) Jones and cousin Margaret and husband Gary of Lewisville, NC., his “Other Mother”(stepmom)Connie Neal, his half brother Eric (Michelle )Neal of Arizona, his Aunt Connie Neal, Cousins Ray (Donielle)Neal and Shawna Davis all of Cheyenne, and Leslie (Perry)Zynda of Ft. Collins, and numerous nieces and nephews and his stepsister Lorrie (Tom) Baker of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his Father, Melvin Neal of Cheyenne, his Mother Joann Clay of Colorado Springs, his sister Carolyn Moore of Casper, his Stepfather Ed Pollock, stepsister Linda Purdy, and his Uncle Bob Neal of Cheyenne.

Special thanks go to his caregivers Herlyna and Hotman who took him on many trips and outings in recent years which he really enjoyed. Also a Special Thanks to Kristen Taylor, his case manager. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to an Autism advocacy group of your choice, such as Autism Speaks.

He will be dearly missed by so many who loved him and were truly blessed to have had him in their lives. He was truly an Angel on this Earth and now an Angel with God and those who have gone before him. May he rest in everlasting peace.
