Michael Anthony Kopcho

May 11, 1977 — April 15, 2024

Michael Anthony Kopcho “Kopcho” “Kop” was called home because of a sudden medical event to our Lord and Savior on April 15, 2024. Michael was born on May 11, 1977, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Larry Gene Sr. and Rosemarie (Tafoya) Kopcho. He began working at eleven years old at the Tribune Eagle as a paper boy, he worked every day of his life from that point forward. His employer for the last twenty-two years was Quality Brand (formerly Orrison Distribution). Michael was known throughout his life for his strong work ethic, he was very proud of the amazing things he accomplished in his life and worked hard to provide for his family.
Kop married the love of his life, his best friend, Brandi Mae (Henning) with a Bronco-themed wedding on July 21, 2001. Together they enjoyed long motorcycle rides, cruising in their lime green Mustang, garage sales, and just spending time together. They are truly soulmates and were inseparable. Kopcho insisted they do everything together as a team. Along with spending time with Brandi, he enjoyed spending time with his children Matthew Joseph, Alyssa Mae, and Malakai Craig, and his fur grand pups Shadow and Lazarus and always had to have his ice cream.
Kopcho had a smile that could light up a room. He had a big heart and loved hard and deeply. Whenever he wanted something, he would not give up until it was his. He was in his second year of sobriety, one of the hardest battles of his life, but we will forever be proud of him.
Kopcho is survived by his loving wife of twenty-four years this year, Brandi Mae, his children Mattew Joseph (Brooke), Alyssa Mae, and Malakai Craig Kopcho, his parents Larry Gene Sr. and Rosemarie Kopcho, in-laws Craig and Terry Henning, brother Larry Jr. (Tawnee), sister Erlinda (David) New, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that he loved very much.
