Michael Dean Crumbliss, 72, died September 27, 2020 at Cheyenne VA, after an extended illness. He was born June 13, 1948, in Cheyenne, WY to Gerald and Doris Crumbliss.
Michael graduated from East High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970. Michael served in the Vietnam War, Field Artillery, and received the Cross of Gallantry w/Palm while doing so.
Michael was a member of VFW Post 1881 in Cheyenne, WY. He loved hunting, fishing and camping and was a lifetime member of The National Elk Foundation. Family and friends meant the world to him. Michael loved life and he lived by his word.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Connie (Stensgaard), and daughter Staci (Mauch).
Michael is survived by his grandchildren Raymond and Logan Clark, and Hailey Mauch. He is also survived by his brothers: Royce and his wife, Marilyn, Crumbliss in Hartville, WY; Marvin and his wife, Laurie,Crumbliss in Denver CO; Robin Crumbliss in Casper WY; David and his wife, Marcia, Crumbliss in Cheyenne,WY; and sister: Geraldine and her husband, Ed Delgado in Guernsey WY; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Cremation has occurred.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 17, 2020 at VFW Post 1881, 2816 E. 7th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
