Maxeen Knipping, 78, died June 25, 2014 in Cheyenne after a short illness.
She was born December 14, 1935 to Max and Kathleen Notar in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1953. She worked for AT&T during the switchover to dial assigning phone numbers, relocating to work at the Cheyenne office. She later worked as secretary for Mountain Fuel and Supply. She met Eugene Knipping in Rock Springs while he worked for Wortham Machinery. They married on October 19, 1956. Their only child, David, was born on July 7, 1960. Shortly after, Eugene was transferred to Cheyenne as a salesman. Maxeen worked for Laramie County School District #1 until retirement.
She is survived by husband Eugene; son David; and brother-in-law, Ron Knipping.
She was preceded by her parents.
Memorial Services will occur Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomksy Chapel.
