Matthew Todd Lindley

June 23, 1968 — September 19, 2019

It is with incredible sadness that we announce the death of our beloved son, Matthew Todd Lindley. Matt passed away September 19, 2019 at the Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, Colorado. Matt suffered from a long illness and his ultimate death was due to septic shock caused by pneumonia and a foot infection.
He was born on June 23, 1968 in Cheyenne. He graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Wyoming and Arizona State University.
Matt had a quick wit and a nickname for those he loved and those whose company he enjoyed. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing golf, skiing, and swimming competitively from a young age.
Matt loved the outdoors and animals, especially dog “Mike” and horses “Jake and Jan”. Matt was involved in anything that had to do with automobiles and trucks from an early age inspired by his grandfather “Pop” and his great-grandfather. Matt worked in the auto industry for most of his working life.
Matt is survived by his parents, Georgia and Tim George, and Nelson Lindley, Jr.; stepbrothers, Brad and Kevin George; aunts, Annette Marsden, Betsy Lanier, Sharon Geile, and Mary Rizzuto; uncle, Bart Klipstein; and numerous cousins, all of whom he loved very much. He was preceded in death by brothers, Nelson Lindley, III, Jarrod Michael Lindley; sister, Audrey Dannette Lindley; maternal grandparents, Fred and Helen Klipstein; and paternal grandparents, Nelson Sr. and Inez Lindley.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Wednesday, 6:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Funeral Liturgy will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at St. Mary’s Cathedral.
