Mary Jane Williams, 96, of Cheyenne, entered into eternal rest at the Davis Hospice Center on July 9, 2015.
She was born September 3, 1918 in Oshkosh, Nebraska, a daughter of Clyde James and Elva (Wickham-Huff) Dayley. She attended the Lewellen High School in Lewellen, Nebraska.
Mary Jane married Harold Emmerick Williams on August 12, 1936. To this union was born two sons, Kenneth Vernon and Edward LeRoy. The Williams family lived in Nebraska until moving to Cheyenne in February of 1942. Mary Jane and Harold owned and operated Williams Electronics from 1957 to 1985.
She was a member of the National Electronics Association. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, fishing, sewing and researching family geneology.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Vernon Williams of Cheyenne; a daughter in law, Florence Williams of Cheyenne; sister in law, Rosetta Grigsby of North Platte, NE; brother in law, Clarence Williams of Wallace, NE; sister in law, Margarette Benson of North Glen, CO; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Interment will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday.
