Mary E. Todd

October 10, 1961 — January 28, 2021

Mary Elizabeth Shultz Todd, 59, was born October 10, 1961 to William K. and Joan (Howe) Shultz at DePaul hospital in Cheyenne, WY. She was the third of seven children. Her older sibling were brothers Michael A.G. Shultz and Brian K. Shultz. Her younger siblings are Thomas P. Shultz, Patricia Shields, Christine Rizor and Georgine Shultz. Mary is proceeded in death by her parents, older brothers Mike and Brian, and her younger sister Georgine.
Mary attended school in Cheyenne graduating from St. Mary’s High school. She attended LCCC and earned her nursing degree. She worked many jobs and was an excellent nurse. However, the job she loved most was working as a dispatcher for the Laramie County Sheriff’s department. When she became ill and was unable to work, it was with great sadness that they had to let her go. She would have returned to work there if a cure for her diseases could have been found.
In 1991, Mary married David K. Todd and a little over a year later they were blessed with a son Nicholas D. Todd. Three and a half years later they were blessed with a daughter Kristen D. Todd. Mary loved and cared for her children the best she could. Two years after the birth of their daughter, Mary was diagnosed with a series of debilitating diseases. Mary fought hard against these diseases for 22 years which included frequent, long hospital stays. It was hard for her to be away from her family, but she fought hard to be as healthy as she could for her family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Black Dog Animal Rescue. Services are pending.
