Mary K. (Howard) Montgomery, 93, of Cheyenne passed away Jan. 5 at Davis Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mary worked for the Bureau of Land Management State office for 28 years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for over 70 years. Mary taught Sunday school, was active in the Presbyterian Women's Assoc. and served as an Elder. She was a member of a sewing circle and loved to crochet. She was also an active member of the Miller Lake Association. Mary was a great mother and an even better grandmother.
Mary is survived by three of her children, David H. (Kathy Lee) Montgomery, Mary Montgomery (Dave) Hall, and Carol Lee Montgomery; five grandchildren, Heather (Steven) Sandifer, Christopher (Sara) Hall, Patrick (Candace) Hall, Kelsey Leeann Montgomery (Max D'Onofrio) and Mary Jennifer Hall (Angy Montgomery) and six great-grandchildren: Caden and Cash Hall, Emma and Madelyn Sandifer, Hayden Montgomery and Phillip Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Montgomery; daughter, Susan Kay Montgomery; parents, Robert Lee and Mary Howard, Sr. and brother, Robert Lee Howard, Jr.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church.
