Mary A. Martinez, 69, of Cheyenne, died Tuesday, July 5 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1946 in Chama, Colorado.
Mary retired as a sales consultant for Qwest. She was affiliated with St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by her husband, Eddie, of Cheyenne, whom she married February 3, 1964 in Greeley, Colorado. They had been married 52 years; two daughters, Joan (Raymond) Moyte of Aurora, Colorado and Carmen Martinez-Barnard of Lakewood, Colorado; three grandchilldren, Ray Moyte, Jr., Lovie Barnard III and Nina Barnard; four brothers, Willie, Don and
Joseph Sanchez and Ernie Vialpando, all of Cheyenne; and a sister, Dorothey Martinez of Cheyenne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Maggie Sanchez; granddaughter,
Nicole Moyte, brother, Eddie Vialpando and a sister, Ruthelma Mascaranes.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Sunday, July 10, at 4:00 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, 10:30 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with
Father Carl Gallinger as the celebrant.
Casket bearers will be Raymond Moyte, Jr., Lovie Barnard III, Joseph Sanchez-Garcia,
Paul Martinez, Keith Maez and Tony Martinez.
Honorary casket bearers will Richard Perez, Jr. and Rudy Torres, Jr.
Interment will take place in Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may contribute to the Kidney Foundation.
