Mary C. Janssen, 72, of Cheyenne, Wyoming died on August 28, 2015, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Vigil for the deceased will be held on Tuesday September 1st at St Mary’s Cathedral in Cheyenne at 7pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at St Mary’s Cathedral at 2pm with Father August Koeune as the celebrant. A reception is to follow at Hartmann Hall. . She was born December 27, 1942 in Cheyenne. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1961. She received her pharmacy degree from Creighton University in 1966 and was a registered pharmacist for 50 years, working at Roedel’s, Union Pacific, and the Cheyenne V.A. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an avid world traveler who loved to spoil her grandchildren .She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 48 years, Bunco club, Pinochle club, the Widow and Widowers Group, the Airport Golf Course, and St. Mary’s Cathedral Guild. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Janssen, of Englewood CO; her son, Michael Janssen, of Seattle WA (Ellen); and grandchildren Madeline and Olivia Janssen. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Catherine Lindstrom, Brother Charles Lindstrom, and husband Phillip Janssen.
