Mary E. Kyte Harper Brown, 101, passed away on Monday April 27, 2015 at Davis Hospice in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Online condolences can be left to the family at

. She was born January 23, 1914 in Rawlins County Kansas to Albert H. and Annie Louise (Yeo) Everiss. She had lived in Rawlins County or Thomas County Kansas until she was 98 then moved to Cheyenne to be close to her daughter and her grandchildren. She was married to E.G Kyte, then to C.A. Harper, and then to E. E. Brown. Mary had a love for dogs, quilting and plants. Survivors include her daughter; Mary L. Aughe, sons; Melvin and Hugh Harper, granddaughters; Susan Aughe, Pattie White, Katherine Bratton, Myra Hopper, Jeanette Aughe, Janet Jeffers and Ann Skinner, and a daughter in-law Darlene Kyte and her children Kari and Kim. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Ellery Kyte, son in-law Jack Aughe, daughters’ in-law Betty and Fran Harper. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Internment will be at a later date at Ilion Cemetery in Rawlins County KS, few miles from her birth.
