Mary Kay Doty, 89, of Cheyenne, died Monday, December 15, 2014 at Life Care Center.
She was born May 1, 1925 in Rawlins, Wyoming. She attended schools in Rawlins and graduated from Rawlins High School. Following her graduation Mary Kay worked as a telephone operator with Mountain Bell in both Rawlins and Cheyenne before her retirement after 27 years with the company.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Debra Doty of Berthoud, Colorado; a daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Phil Cameron of Cheyenne; four grandchildren, Keri and Kelli Cameron of Denver; Deanna Doty of Fort Collins; Ryan (Nicole) Cameron of Cheyenne; five great grandchildren, Allison and Madison of Denver; Baylee of Fort Collins; Charli and Wills of Cheyenne; and her special friend, Carolyn Bryington of Fort Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Alice Anderson; and a brother, Harry Wolf.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Private family services are being planned.
