Mary Lou Burr, 70, of Cheyenne, died on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Davis Hospice Center.
She was born on September 26, 1943 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and had lived here all of her life.
Mrs. Burr was the office manager at Cheyenne Radiology. She was a past manager of the Radiology Department at Memorial Hospital. Mary Lou graduated from LCCC. She was a past member of the Wyoming State Board of Radiology and received numerous awards for her exceptional service. Mary Lou was also a regional representative for the National Arthritis Foundation.
Mary Lou was a HAM radio operator and enjoyed sketching, painting, reading, and photography. She enjoyed travelling and horseback rides, and enjoyed owning and training llamas. She loved her Silky dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Burr, whom she married on February 28, 1964 in Cheyenne. She was a compassionate and devoted partner to her husband. She is also survived by a niece, Marcie Rodgers of Denver, Colorado.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
