Mary June Apodaca, 88, of Cheyenne, died on Wednesday in Cheyenne.
She was born on December 5, 1927 in San Luis, Colorado and had lived here since 1957.
Mrs. Apodaca was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and enjoyed crocheting and dancing.
She is survived by two sons, Rudy Apodaca of Cheyenne, and Ted Apodaca (Laura) of Washington; two daughters, Chabby Porth (Jim) of Windsor, Colorado and Irmarie Quinones (Miguel Sanchez) of Cheyenne; a brother, Henry Gallegos of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two sisters, Elva Garcia and Cecelia Chavez, both of Cheyenne; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Apodaca was preceded in death by her husband, John Apodaca; two sons, John Apodaca, Jr. and Glen Apodaca; two brothers, Barney Gallegos and George Rivera; and her parents, Bernabe and Isabele Gallegos.
Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
