Marvin Dean Moore, 57, of Cheyenne, Wyoming died on July 11, 2021 in Cheyenne. He was born July 30, 1963 in Cheyenne.
Marvin was a master mechanic at JBS in Greeley, CO. for many years; He was FFL certified and a very knowledgeable gunsmith. He attended gun shows as often as he could and enjoyed working on firearms.
Marvin was an avid hunter; loved camping, fishing and anything outdoors. His favorite spot to be was Kennedy Peak in Snowy Range. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working on vehicles, home improvements, and his garden. Marvin was extremely outgoing, and never met a stranger; he would strike up a conversation anywhere he went. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, pets, and playing with his grandchildren. His grandchildren were the light of his life and he never missed an opportunity to attend an event or play with them.
He is survived by his wife Betty of Cheyenne; daughters ; Jamie Farley (Dave) of Grand Junction, CO, Elizabeth Lovell-Poynor (Nick) of Cheyenne; Step Daughter Cindy Fisher (John) of Grand Junction; Grandchildren; Sam, Benjamin, Christian, Sean of Grand Junction and Abigayle, Nicholas, and James of Cheyenne; Brothers Bill Moore of Rock Springs, WY and Don Moore (Cara) of Cheyenne; Parents Les Moore of Ohio and Delores Moore of Cheyenne; Brother and Sister in Law Will Roberts (Kelly) and Debbie Porter of Cheyenne.
Marvin was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Lydia Schwartzkopf of Cheyenne and Brackie and Laura May Moore of West Virginia; Mother and Father- in-law William and Cleo Roberts of Cheyenne; Brother in law Ron Porter of Cheyenne; Sister in Law Mary Moore of Rock Springs and Uncle Denver Moore of Ohio.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday August 15th at The Louise, 110 E. 17th St. Cheyenne WY from 1:30-4:00PM. The family is requesting all who attend to wear a mask.
