Marjorie L. Noell, 106, of Cheyenne, died November 17, 2017, in Cheyenne. She was born Dec. 27, 1910, in Corydon, Iowa. She met her husband, Lawrence Noell, at a USO dance on Pearl Harbor day, Dec. 7, 1941. They were married on July 16, 1942. They had three children, Jackie (Roland) Steele of Corpus Cristi, TX; Betty (Don) Clarke of Aurora, CO., and Robert (Jean) Noell of Cheyenne, WY. Marjorie attained a Master’s Degree in Child Development. During her career, she taught elementary school in Cheyenne, licensed Day Care Centers throughout Wyoming, and taught Head Start in Ft. Collins, CO. She later partnered in a restaurant with her husband and son. Marjorie stayed active at Trinity Lutheran Church throughout her life. Survivors include her daughter, Jackie (Roland), and son Robert (Jean), six grandchildren; Michael Steele, Karen Steele, Monica (Robert) Miller, David (Brittany) Clarke, Kelsey (Clark) Korber, Bryant (Maddison) Korber, and eight great grandchildren; Rose, Natalie, Ryan, Amelia, Chloe, Kenzington, Treyson and Kyren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, her daughter Betty and her son-in-law Don Clarke. Services will be Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church on November 27th at 2PM. Burial will follow out at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
