Beeman, Marilyn Ann (nee Meier). Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sunday, December 8, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Peter Tyree Beeman. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond H. and Myra (Boesing) Meier. Dear sister of Barbara Baldesi and brother of Anthony (Gerry) Meier and Paul Meier. Dear aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.
Marilyn was born on November 1, 1949 in St Louis, MO, where she lived until moving to Kirksville, MO, for college. She obtained her BSE from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State). Marilyn began working for the U.S. Department of Transportation. She later passed the CPA exam. Due to her job, Marilyn and her husband moved to Jefferson City, MO and then Salt Lake City, UT, before settling in Cheyenne in 1975. She continued to work for the Federal Government until retiring in 2004. Marilyn then worked part time at a local credit union for thirteen years. Marilyn also volunteered at the Cheyenne Civic Center and St. Joseph’s Food Pantry. Marilyn enjoyed dancing and volunteered as an instructor teaching line dancing to adults and disabled adults. Marilyn also volunteered at the Mt. Sinai Synagogue and was a member of its dance group.
Marilyn and Pete traveled extensively, and they both enjoyed hunting and outdoor activities. Marilyn was an avid gardener and also enjoyed sewing.
Marilyn was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and Treasurer of its Council of Catholic Women.
In Marilyn’s memory, a Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1836 Hot Springs Avenue, Cheyenne, WY.
The family requests Masses or contributions to Holy Trinity Youth Education Trust in memory of Marilyn.
