Maria L. Meza, 65, of Cheyenne, passed away after a short struggle with cancer.
She was born in Bloomington, Texas to Hilaria and Alfredo Garza on January 19, 1955.
She was married to Marcelo Meza for 32 years.
Maria is survived by three sisters, Patricia Gallegos, Leticia Garza, and Rosalinda Gazaway; three children, Maria Burgess (Brent), Marcelo Meza, III, and Jose Meza (Sonia); seven grandchildren; and one great grandson.
She was a mother, a nana, a sister, and a friend to many. She had an amazing smile, was very outspoken, but she knew how to make you laugh. Maria also knew how to throw down in the kitchen with her mexican cooking.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
