Marguerite Montgomery, 95, of Seattle, Washington died on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Foss Home and Village in Seattle.
She was born on August 31, 1919 in Cheyenne and had lived here from 1919 to 1968.
Marguerite was a Registered Nurse and worked at Memorial Hospital, DePaul Hospital, and the VA Hospital for thirty years, and Swedish Hospital in Seattle for twelve years. Mrs. Montgomery had an incredible rose garden and was very dedicated to her nursing career. Church was also very important to her.
She is survived by two children, Mary Pollard of Aurora, Colorado and Ruth Montgomery of Seattle; four grandchildren, Don Montgomery, Tracy Lein, Robert Pollard, and Nichole Truitt; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Montgomery on January 1, 1999; a son, Donald Montgomery; and three sisters, Thelma Killebrew, Ruby Snyder, and Gladys Reske.
Services will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
