Marcelo Meza, II, (TaTa), 62, of Cheyenne, died on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born on November 5, 1953 in Brownsville, Texas and had lived in Cheyenne for five years with prior residency in Douglas.
Marcelo was a pipeliner.
He loved fishing and the water, including oceans and beaches, and rivers, his truck, and his boots and cowboy hat.
Marcelo is survived by his wife, Maria Meza, whom he married on September 15, 1978 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma; a daughter, Maria Teresa “Terri” Burgess (Brent) of Cheyenne; two sons, Marcelo “Celo” Meza, III and Jose Luis Meza (Sonia), both of Cheyenne; three sisters, Yolanda Meza and Leticia Sanchez, both of Brownsville, and Martha Munoz of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren, Jose Luis Meza, Jr., Allison Marie Meza, and Angelina Maria Meza.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
