Manuel De Gobbi, 37, of Denver, passed away suddenly on September 8, 2020 in Aurora, CO. He was born on May 8, 1983 in Italy to Franco De Gobbi and Magda (Querinuz) Heinig.
Manuel spent the first seven years in Italy with his father. In 1990 the family moved to Rapid City, South Dakota and lived here a few years. After that they moved to Shreveport, Louisiana until 1998 when they moved and stayed in Cheyenne.
Manuel went and graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 2001. During his time at Central he was an avid body builder and appeared in calendars with fellow body builders.
After high school Manuel joined the Navy. During basic training he completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.
Manuel is survived by his mother; sister, Sandie De Gobbi; brother, Richard (Josephine) Heinig; Aunts, Antonella De Gobbi and Missy Heinig; uncle, Carlo Dondo; one niece and many cousins.
He was preceded by his father, Franco; both maternal and paternal grandparents; uncle, Antonio De Gobbi; aunt, Gabriella De Gobbi.
Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, in Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, in Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
