Magdalena Svare, 94, of Cheyenne, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Kindred Transitional Care Center.
She was born on April 3, 1920 in Germany. Mrs. Svare came to the U.S. in 1954 and was very proud to become a U.S. Citizen in 1955.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, and cooking or baking for anyone that stopped by the house. She was an excellent cook. She also enjoyed spending time fishing with her husband and grandchildren. She was very generous and would do whatever she could for anyone.
Mrs. Svare is survived by a daughter, Linda A. Long (Tracy) of Casper; two sons, Hans Wydra (Colleen) and Waldamar Svare, both of Denver; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley M. Svare, Sr., whom she married on July 10, 1954 in Germany; a son, Harley Svare, Jr.; one brother; and seven sisters.
Services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Pallbearers are Rod Jensen, David Mulberry, Mike Pepmeier, and Mark Smith.
Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
