Lynda Robyn Barrett

Lynda Robyn Barrett passed peacefully at her sister’s home in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas on December 19, 2024. Robyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Robyn is predeceased by her husband, James Barrett, her parents, William Clint and Hazel Joines, her granddaughter, McKenna Quast, and her sister, Lynn Stratch. She is survived by her three children, Lisa Oliver (Brian) of Broomfield, CO, Amy Martinez of Windsor, CO and Sean Barrett of Cheyenne WY. Eleven grandchildren: Curran, Cameron, McKailyn, and Delaeni Quast, Brennen and Ryan Oliver, Payton and Sloan Martinez, Piper, Brady and Jagger Barrett. As well as two great-granddaughters, Nora and Valor Quast. She is also survived by her sister Suzan Armstrong and her brother Dan Joines.

Robyn was born August 19, in North Wilkesboro, N. Carolina, and spent her childhood homesteading North of Fairbanks, Alaska. She married her beloved husband, Jim, in 1966. Robyn was a very talented, self taught, artist and sculptor. She enjoyed time spent with her husband and her grandchildren especially if it involved travel, shopping or Starbucks. She was an active and faithful member of St. Mary’s Cathedral.

The Rosary Vigil will be Thursday January 16, 2025, at 7:00 pm at St. Mary’s. Funeral will be Friday January 17, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Robyn’s life.
