Lucille Hernandez, 83, cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend died peacefully at home.
Lucille was born September 21, 1931 in Minatare, Nebraska, the daughter of Adalberto and Anna (de la Torre) Hernandez. She moved to Cheyenne at an early age where she attended school. She married Louis Hernandez on December 3, 1949 in Greeley, Colorado. Louis and Lucille had 49 devoted years together.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis; son, Edward; sisters, Beatrice Trevino, Rebecca Hernandez, Anna Hinjosa, Virginia Alvarez, and Sara Arroyo.
Lucille is survived by her sons, Michael Hernandez of Grand Junction, Colorado and Mark and wife, Linda Hernandez of Casper; daughter, Linda and husband, Alejandro Pena of Santa Ana, California; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by brothers, Albert and William Hernandez of Cheyenne and sister, Caroline Nation of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Viewing will be Friday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Funeral Liturgy will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with Father Tom Cronkleton as celebrant. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date.

Lucille will be sorely missed by family and friends.
