Lucille Apodaca, 79, of Cheyenne, died September 28th. She was born October 2, 1942 in Taos, New Mexico. She is survived by her sons, Michael & Andrew; grandchildren, Patoricinia, Carlitos, Faith & Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Apodaca; parents. Escolastico and Alicia Martinez,; brothers, Andrew & Gabino Martinez; sisters, Cecilia Maestas and Margarita Johnson. She had a love for her soap operas and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a cook for many years at DePaul Hospital and the Attention Home. She was an amazing cook and was famous for her salsa! Lucille had a strong faith and trust in Jesus, and treasured many verses that touched her. She was loved by many, and will be truly missed! Funeral Liturgy will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with a reception to follow at the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
