LouElla Ross, 100, of Cheyenne, died on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Davis Hospice Center.
She was born on November 11, 1914 in Denver, Colorado and had lived here since 1950.
Mrs. Ross was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Eagles Lodge. She loved her family and was an avid reader and writer. Mrs. Ross retired from LCSD#1 after 30 years of service.
She is survived by a son, O.E. “Jim” Ross, Jr. (June) of Cheyenne; two daughters, Stella Joy (Jack) of Cheyenne, and Patricia “Pat” Cordova (Bob) of Pierce, Colorado; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 15 great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband, Oral E. “Jim” Ross, Sr. on September 22, 1995; 10 brothers and sisters; and her parents, Edgar and Alice (Schermerhorne) Nelsen.
Services will be Saturday, 9:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints Stake Center.
Interment will follow in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
