Lorraine R. Cohea, seventy two years old, of Cheyenne, WY passed away on March 30, 2016 while surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Lorraine was born to Edward and Henrietta Cobb of Medford MA.
An avid rock hound and fossil hunter, Lorraine loved camping and hiking.
Lorraine worked in the drywall business in Cheyenne for twenty years. After which she moved to Texas to be near her sister Janet. After retirement, Lorraine moved to Silver Springs FL to be with her sister Ruth Ann and brother Brian. Two years ago, she made the move back to Cheyenne to be closer to her children.
Lorraine is survived by her children Christine and Larry VanDorn of Cheyenne, Nancy and Jerry Sipe of Kingman, AZ, son Thomas Carney of Deerfield, NH, and Daniel and Roxane Carney of Bellevue, NE. Also, longtime friend and companion George Colhoff, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, and her dog Brandy.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brother Thomas Cobb.
At her request there will be no services at this time. The family will conduct a private service at a later date, The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr Howard Schneider, all the personnel on the eighth floor of CRMC, and the staff at Davis Hospice for all their wonderful care.
Cremation under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
