Services will be held for Loretta Lindgren at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Cheyenne, Wyoming on February 13, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Mark Maas will be officiating with burial at Valley View Cemetery in Torrington, Wyoming. Mrs. Lindgren passed on February 10, 2018 at 12:10 p.m., she was 89 years old.
Mrs. Lindgren was born in Sterling, Colorado, to Emmett and Pauline Dick on February 3, 1929. She started school at Morrill, Nebraska and moved to Torrington, Wyoming when she was in 5th grade. She graduated from Huntley, Wyoming in 1947. She married Kenneth Huckfeldt June 1949 and had 2 daughters and a son. Mr. Huckfeldt died April 1970. She married Roger Lindgren June 1974. Mr. Lindgren died March 19, 2003.
She worked at Ben Franklin, J.C. Penney’s and Frail Elementary School.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod all her life.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Chaplain David) Anderson of Cheyenne; Debora (John) Hopp DDS of Gillette; a son, Dr. Roger (Jennifer) Huckfeldt of Springfield, MO; two stepsons Steven (Laurie) Lindgren of Lincoln, NE; Rodney (Cindy) Lindgren of California; sister, Geneva Johannes of Mitchell, NE; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to a Church or Charity of choice.
