Loretta S. Gilbertson, 64, of Cheyenne, died on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 5, 1950 in Gushikawa City, Okinawa, Japan and had lived in Cheyenne since 1984.
Loretta was a telephone technician/troubleshooter at Nippon Electric Company and a aesthestician at Max Factor in Japan. She loved to quilt and crochet.
She is survived by her husband, James Gilbertson, whom she married in Okinawa; two brothers, Masakazu and Masahiro Asato, both of Okinawa; and three sisters, Etsuko Yoshida of Los Angeles, California, and Raiko Igai and Kaiko Mayeda, both of Okinawa.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Yoshihito and Sachiko (Yamaguchi) Asato.
Timeless Memories services will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Cremation and burial of her urn has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
