Lorenzo Gregory Hurtado, Sr., (Hefe) 51, of Cheyenne, was called home on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Cheyenne.
He was born on August 19, 1966 in Cheyenne.
Lorenzo was a shipping coach at Lowe’s Distribution Center. He was a disabled veteran and the President of the VNVLV Cheyenne chapter Motorcycle Club (Vietnam Vets/Legacy Vets). He was instrumental in the Operation Zero Fundraiser which helped with suicide prevention for veterans returning home. He loved motorcycles, fishing, and hunting, camping and spending time with friends and family. His biggest love was his family and most specifically his grandbabies.
Lorenzo is survived by his Wife of 31 years, Rita Hurtado; children, Anthony DeLuna (Julie) of Thornton, Colorado, Raymond DeLuna (Sean) of San Jose, California, Nicole Ringo (Shane) of Cheyenne, and Lorenzo Hurtado, Jr. (Tavaè) of Cheyenne; and Paul Hernandez of Thornton Co. Mother, Josephine Marie Crader (Bill) of Cheyenne; Father, H. LarryFabian “Wolfman” Hurtado of New Mexico; sister, Rene Heflin (Steve) of Parker, Colorado; and grandchildren, Angela, Dimitri, Atticus, McKenna, Sophia, Danny, Urijah, Lorenzo III, Lovè, Paulie, and Alivia. Lorenzo is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Clodoveo and Mary Hurtado and his maternal grandparents Isadore and Josephine Lopez and his mother and father in law Benigno and Lucia Hernandez.
Visitation will be Saturday, 1-5, and Monday, 9-4, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Monday, 6:00 p.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
